David Johnson

David Johnson is a lifelong resident of Champaign-Urbana. He is a former Vice-President / Political Director of the AFL-CIO of Champaign County, a 25 year member of Carpenters Union 44, a founding member of CDUI ( Carpenters for a Democratic Union ), and a graduate of the University of Illinois ( B.A. Economics ). His father was president of Carpenters Union 44 during the 1970's and his grandmother was arrested in C/U for Union activism during the 1930's.
